BIO

Actor, narrator, and voiceover artist Julian G. Simmons has worked in the entertainment industry for many years.  Trained in the classics at Oxford, Julian has appeared in numerous stage productions.  He excels at creating characters of all types, ages, accents, and sexes.  His audiobook narrations are consistently rated very highly on Audible.com, and he is developing a solid and loyal following in the growing audiobook market.

 

Julian's  most recent work includes two seasons as the voice of the Giraffe for the international animated Bling ABC Children’s series, Kids Stars. Julian is the principal character in an online streaming production for WebMD as a British patient. Utilizing his unique talent for creating mysterious, haunting voices, Julian narrates the promotional trailer for Widdershins RPG.  Julian also hosts the podcast "talkin' 'bout Our Generation."

Julian’s mainstream TV and film work includes performing as the voice of Roman Polanski in the film, “Haunting Charles Manson” by Scottish Director Mick Davis (Modigliani, Love in Paris); sketch comedy on “Lopez Tonight;” the Discovery series “Unusual Suspects;” and “Shakespeare High” the highly acclaimed Showtime documentary. Simmons played attorney Charles Cooper in the “Prop 8 Marriage Trial” web series and has acted in many commercials for WEBMD, Samsung, CISCO, Huggies, PepsiCo and others.  He plays the lead in the sizzle reel for a murder/mystery series, "Provincelands."  He has narrated all 12 audiobooks in Jordan L. Hawk’s “Widdershins: Whyborne and Griffin” novel series.
 

Julian lives in Los Angeles.
